My vision of naturopathy (note the missing i)
Here's what I love about Naturopathy and what I put into practice in each treatment:
It is based on natural techniques that are key to health: diet, physical activity, stress and emotional management.
It approaches the person as a whole and looks for the cause of the disorder.
The result is a more lasting sense of well-being.
She offers a tailor-made, individualised and pragmatic programme.
What's more, this inner ecology is indissociable from the ecology that I carry in my heart.
I support you gently, without judgement, enthusiastically, in the way and at the pace that suits you best. The changes I suggest must make sense to you, and pleasure must not be forgotten.
What is naturopathy ?
Naturopathy is a traditional medicine recognised by the WHO, ranking 3rd among traditional medicines behind Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurveda. It complements allopathic medicine.
It restores, improves and preserves health by proposing a natural and personalised lifestyle.
It is founded on the principle of the body's vital energy and is based on the 10 natural agents of health, the 3 most important of which are diet, physical exercise and the management of stress and emotions.
Its limitations: Vital energy is too weak to create self-healing.
Ethics: Naturopaths are not doctors.
As such, he or she does not deal with emergencies and does not make diagnoses, nor does he or she ask you to stop a treatment. The naturopath is not a pharmacist. Results require the customer's involvement. He does not intervene in obstetric, gynaecological, dental, surgical or psychiatric problems, etc.
